At the St. John’s Rowing Club, we believe that anyone who wants to row should have the opportunity to do so. We have programs to fit many different needs, schedules, goals, abilities and interests. Our programs range from recreational (that row 2 to 3 times per week) to competitive (that row and train 7+ times per week) and everything in between.

Our programs follow the Rowing Canada Long Term Athlete Development Model and are designed to provide athletes with a continuous path of development towards their goal, whether it’s competition at various levels or being Active for Life. Athletes can move across programs when space is available and depending on their skill level and goals.

If you are unsure of which program to join or just want more information, please consult our FAQ page or email us at general@sjrc.ca.
