Winter Training


Junior Development

Winter training for the Junior Development program will start on Monday, November 14th!

Sessions will be located at Max Fitness (34 New Cove Road) in Studio 6. The full season registration fee will be $325 (Nov. 14, 2022 – March 31, 2023).

Anyone who did not row with the SJRC in the 2022 season would have to pay $45 for their annual Rowing Canada and Rowing Newfoundland memberships in addition to the program registration fee.

The program schedule will be as follows:

Monday and Wednesday 5:00-6:30pm
Saturday 9:30-11:00am

Strength and conditioning sessions at Max Fitness:
Frequency: 1x/week
Cost: $120
Start Date: TBD

Adult Rec/Masters

Winter training for the Adult Rec/Masters program will start on Monday, November 14th!

The program schedule will be as follows:

Tuesday 6:30-8:00pm
Thursday 7:30-9:00pm
Sunday 8:00-9:30am

There are a few flexible pricing options outlined below. Anyone who rowed with us this year would already have paid for the mandatory RCA + RNL memberships.

As a reminder, SJRC members get 20% off Max Fitness memberships and can take advantage of a free 14-day trial before committing. There will be a full training program including strength, conditioning and cross-training this year. For anyone who wants to get stronger, prevent injury and complement their erg training this is a great option.
