The SJRC is a volunteer, non-for-profit organization that relies on volunteers to keep our club operating. If you have some extra time or a special skill that you’d be willing to share with us, please get in touch!
Here is a list of volunteer positions that the club could use help with:
- Safety Boat Driver (must have a boaters license)
- Handy Person – Help out with little odd and end jobs around the club (carpentry)
- Photography – Help collect photos over the course of the season and organize a club folder
- Video Maker – Develop small videos over the summer and at end of season
- Gardening – Help maintain the grounds
- Oars – Sanding and painting
- Marketing/ Sponsorship- Work with the Treasurer and Communications & Partnerships committees in developing and seeking sponsorship
- Archive Curator – Go through SJRC archive and itemize and organize
Interested in joining the board?
Our board member roles are appointed formally each spring at the Annual General Meeting. Expressions of interest from individuals interested in occasional volunteer work or SJRC board membership are very welcome. Please email: general@sjrc.ca.
